Sharing cache
Pro feature
You need Jumper Pro to use this feature.
When Jumper analyzes media files, it creates cache files. These are the files that Jumper uses to perform search.
With Jumper Pro, you can share these cache files with other users. This is useful if you want to share the cache files with your team members or if you want to use the same cache files on multiple devices.
#
How it works
In Jumper, you can set the Analysis folder
to a shared directory. This directory can be on a network drive or a cloud storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive.
When you set the Analysis folder
to a shared directory, Jumper will create the cache files in that directory.
For example if 4 editors have set the same Analysis folder
to a shared directory, Jumper will create the cache files in that directory. The cache files will be shared between the 4 editors. This means that if one editor analyzes a media file, the other editors will be able to use the cache files without having to analyze the media file again. When they add a media file to their project, if the cache file already exists it will show up as already analyzed (green tickmark in the Media table)

Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble with the cache sharing feature, here are some things to check:
Make sure that the Analysis folder
is set to the same directory on all devices. The exact path to the directory might differ on different devices.
Make sure that the directory is accessible from all devices. If you are using a network drive, make sure that the drive is mounted on all devices. If you are using a cloud storage service, make sure that the directory is synced on all devices.
Make sure that the permissions on the directory are set correctly. All users should have read and write permissions on the directory.
