NVIDIA GPU (Windows): GPU acceleration requires compute capability 7.5 or higher—for example the RTX 20 series and newer, GTX 1650 Ti, Quadro RTX, or T-series. See NVIDIA’s current CUDA GPU list for supported cards.Cards with compute capability 6.x (such as GTX 10-series/Pascal like the GTX 1060) are on NVIDIA’s legacy list and cannot use hardware acceleration. Jumper falls back to the CPU; analysis still works but is much slower. Summary Analysis uses a larger local vision-language model and is especially slow on the CPU (for example, hours for a short clip).

Rosetta (macOS Apple Silicon)

Rosetta is required if ffmpeg is not already installed on your system. The version of ffmpeg that Jumper downloads is not currently a Universal Binary. Jumper will install ffmpeg automatically if you don’t have it already installed.

  • Accessibility Permission: Required for JumperHelper to control NLE applications
  • Full Disk Access: Required for Jumper.app to access files
