If a firewall blocks model downloads, download the models on a machine with internet access and copy the models folder to each editorial machine. Whitelisting the license server does not allow model downloads. License checks and model downloads are separate.

Download the models

Use a source machine with the same operating system as the editorial stations. Model availability depends on the platform. See the model reference.

Open Settings

On the internet-connected machine, open the Settings tab.

Download the models you need

Select each model and download it. Jumper stores downloaded models in the folder below.

Where models are stored

~/.jumper/modelsThe .jumper folder is hidden. In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder, then enter:

Copy them onto the editorial machines

Copy the models folder

Copy the models folder from the internet-connected machine onto removable media or your content network.

Place it on each editorial machine

Put the folder at the same path for the account that runs Jumper.On macOS that is ~/.jumper/models. On Windows it is C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\.jumper\models. Create the .jumper folder if it is not there yet.

Load the model

Open Jumper on the editorial machine. In Settings, select the model and click Load.
Analysis files belong to the model that created them. After loading a different model, re-analyze media before searching with it. See Analyzing media.
