Configure Jumper on the admin’s machine as you want your editors to use it. You send this setup to editors in Send a configuration.
Before you begin: you have a Jumper Enterprise license. For background, see the Enterprise overview.
1

Set the analysis folder

Set the analysis folder to the location containing the production’s analysis data. For a team, use a shared analysis folder.
2

Load the models

Download the required models and load the visual model you want editors to use. Use the same visual model that was used to analyze the footage.
3

Add and analyze the media

Add the desired media to Jumper and analyze it, or load the existing analysis.
4

Name people and speakers

Give names to people in face analysis and to detected speakers in transcripts.
5

Choose the UI settings

Choose the UI settings, such as the number of search results and how result thumbnails appear.
6

Test a search

Try a search to confirm that the prepared media and analysis work together.
Each editor’s machine needs access to the media files and analysis data. Make sure shared drives are mounted and the configured paths are available before the editor starts. When using a Jumper plugin, make the media available in the editor’s NLE for playback and timeline work.
